About
OldLens Match is a free checker that lets you confirm how vintage lenses, mount adapters, and mirrorless cameras fit together — without the guesswork. Day-to-day updates and guidance are handled by our deputy admin, Nagisa.
Why we built OldLens Match
The world of vintage lenses is wonderfully rich. Lenses made decades ago can take surprisingly beautiful photos on today's cameras — a special kind of joy you won't find with brand-new glass.
But so many people stumble on the very first step. "Will this lens work on my camera?" "Which adapter should I buy?" — the information is scattered, and plenty give up while still unsure. I was one of them.
OldLens Match exists to erase that uncertainty: a place where anyone can check lens–adapter–camera compatibility without getting lost. A gentle entry point for those wary of buying used, and a spot where vintage-lens lovers around the world can drop by — we'll grow it little by little.
Relax, and find the one lens you love. Helping with that would make me happiest.
